• [Notes] backstory: the Cindercrest bloodline is ~1,000 years old, founded by Aurelion Cindercrest, who survived the Volcaris Mountains eruption wreathed in a crimson aura (origin of Flame Resonance). Ember's mother defied the Cindercrest Leader (her own father), married a commoner; their branch was disbanded and took the father's name Strife — but everyone still knows/fears them as Cindercrest blood.
• [Notes] Five-Flame Inheritance: up to 5 flames float behind her back, weakest → strongest: Red, Orange, Yellow, White, Blue; each flame has its own ability and adjacent pairs combine (9 abilities); using a flame puts it on cooldown. Published chapters show her wielding red, orange, and (Ch 36–37) yellow — i.e., published is slightly ahead of the notes' "currently only red and orange"; white and blue are [Planned].
